Van Gogh Contest - updated

We have had a couple of our customers ask a question regarding our Van Gogh Contest and rather than answer them privately we though some of you might also like to hear the answer.

Question:  

I already own the stamps you are offering but would still like to participate in the contest.  I know you sometimes offer a substitution for the blog candy giveaways if we have already purchased the set.  Will we be able to get a substitution if we already own the stamps?

Answer: 

Yes you can!  You can take any other Starving Artistamps or Starving Artistamps DoodleFactory stamp sheet... including our up and coming new release (hint hint)! 

So for those of you who are on the fence about participating because you already own the Oh Baby You're Super stamps fear not, you will still get a prize you'll love! 

Speaking of Van Gogh cards... in my haste to post the contest I inadvertently left off  one of our designers cards!   This card is a fabulous representation of the Van Gogh technique and I can not believe I overlooked it during my original post.  Apologies to Donna Duquette the creator of this beautiful work of art:

Remember back when we had our blog hop? One of the cards Irene designed was this fabulously colored countryside card:

As soon as I saw it I knew it would be a great technique for a challenge. I also though Irene should get lots of credit for the technique and what better place to show off a new technique but thru the Technique Junkies newsletter! I contacted Pat over at the newsletter and she was as excited about the idea as I was. The card quickly came down off Irene's blog as we had to pull it for publication, that was until today!

Pat and I hatched a plan. Technique Junkies would be publishing Irene's technique in the June issue of the technique junkies newsletter and together we would do a partnership challenge where our readers and their readers will get double the chance to win products from both of us by entering Van Gogh cards in both contests!

To enter OUR CONTEST you will need to design your own Van Gogh technique colored card (You do not need to use to Starving Artistamps images to be eligible to win) post a direct link to your card from your blog or art gallery in the comment section of this post. If you do not belong to a message board, have a blog, or have the ability to link to your card you can just post your comment and then email us the card to strvingartistmp@aol.com
