Welcome to our newest designer Laura Davis!

It is with great pleasure that we announce that Laura Davis has joined our design team. Many of you have seen Laura's wonderful cards and sketches when we sponsor the 2 sketches 4 you challenge blog that she and the talented Kazan Clark co-own: http://www.2sketches4you.blogspot.com
. Laura's style can be described with words like BIG, BOLD, FEARLESS. Her affinity for lavish ribbons, posh bows and strong color make her cards POP! So it is my honor and without further adieu may we introduce you to Laura Davis:

Designer Laura Davis

We asked Laura to give us a brief biography about herself and her interests:

Hello, my name is Laura Davis and I am a wife and a mother to a 15 year old daughter. I enjoy running, working out, cooking, and creating. Creating is my passion. I love being inspired, and inspiring others.

And inspiring she is, take a look at these outstanding projects and you can see for yourself how talented Laura is:

Laura's newest creations will soon be appearing in our gallery and on her personal blog:

Presenting the Welcoming Jenn's Baby Card call challenge!

Something special is happening.

One of our incredible designers Jenn McMillan and her husband are expecting their first child, a baby girl who is due to be born on February 11th. Words can not express how excited we are around here for them as well as for ourselves because she will also be our first official design team baby! To mark her entry into the world we are running a challenge/card call from now until February 11th 2010.

I would love to take credit for this idea but it was actually Jenn's friend Tanya Rudd who proposed we fill Jenn's mailbox with cards. So here is how it works...

We are going to offer a random giveaway prize to one lucky person who participates in our card call. The prize will be your choice of One FREE full sheet of SA or DF stamps and One FREE set of sentiments.

What you'll need to do is make and send a baby card to the McMillans. Include in your card your favorite baby tip! Post the card on your blog then post your link to your direct blog post on the Mr. linky link collector below. Then EMAIL Tanya here: ruddtanya@gmail.com for Jenn's mailing address.

We will run the card call until midnight February 11th 2010 PST. We will announce the winner on or before February 13th 2010. Although it would be nice for you to use our stamps for your cards it is not a requirement, all entries are welcome!

Isn't this a great way to welcome a new baby into the world and what a special collection of cards to save in a memory box. Here's the card I made last night to get things started:

Materials used:

SPECIAL THANKS TO TANYA FOR SUGGESTING THIS

AND TO KAZAN FOR WALKING ME THROUGH MR LINKY!
