Worth the wait! Blog Candy and New Releases!

"the possibilities are endless."

That should be the credo for our hobby, because rubber stamping is just that, endless possibilities. And just like the fort Bink built, all you need is a little imagination.
(Stamps: house -DF country collection and bink, bike and fort -DF great outdoors collection)

I have SO MUCH to tell you guys about! It's been a LOOONG week trying to get ready for our upcoming Rubber stamp shows in Novi, Michigan (Heirloom Productions is hosting the Stamp and Scrapbook paper arts festival August 16 and 17, 2008 (visit http://www.heirloompro.com/ for show information, check out the vendor line up, its a BIG show!) followed by another looong distance drive the following week to Hamburg, NY August 23 and 24, 2008(http://www.stampscraparttour.com/) which is up near Buffalo and only 38 miles from Niagara Falls, which of course we must visit while we are over there!

Anyway, so while we have been trying to get ready for that, we have also been very hard at work putting together the sentiments for the new Great Outdoors set. I'm so excited to finally be able to show you the new sets, put up the next blog candy and tell you about our new special!

First things first.. You guys have been really patient and its about to pay off...

Because here are some our newest offerings:

DoodleFactory the Great Outdoors!

and as promised coordinating sentiments:

Heidi helped dream up a good portion of these guys (props to Heidi!)
and even Irene and her Beau got in on the fun!

"when I grow up, I wanna be just like you."

"over an open fire"

These are starting production this week and should start shipping by the end of next week. They are already loaded on the website and available for order. Now the cool parts... After this set was completed I got an email from Heidi suggesting a firefly (we call them lightning bugs around here) and I was pretty bummed out that I didnt think to add one. I mean what says BOY, SUMMER and CAMPING (aside from mosquitoes!) well lightning bugs of course! But whats done is done and the plate was already off for engraving. Then I realized I was putting together the sentiments and wouldnt you know it I could find a few spots for some doodles! So I shot Irene a quick email and worked out a deal for her to doodle up some fireflies for us ASAP!

And the best part... For a limited time only...they are coming FREE with your purchase!

When you purchase the full sheet you will get these lil' fellows free!!

and you will also get this cute little bear print to go with Yoris and all those fun bear sayings:

And for the blog candy, we are giving away the first sheet (DF the Great Outdoors) and sentimnt sets (Outdoors, Together, Sign, and Tree huggers) and the freebies FREE!

All you need to do to enter our blog candy is two small things... First, promise to SPREAD THE WORD! Tell everyone you can about the blog candy and post a comment on this thread telling Irene what collections you would like to see her doodle up in the future! Dont forget to put your email addy in your comments so we know how to contact you! We will post the winner next tuesday night!
Dont forget to sign up for blog updates so you dont miss any new offers and releases. We have lots of new images coming out soon!

Wow, I love these guys! The grill & camper are so cute and I just love the expression on Pogue's face.

For future sets, I would love to see a winter set. Penguins, ice skating, ice fishing and igloos.

I'd also love a train maybe combined with a circus set. With lions, lion tamers, trapezes, a big top and so on.

I don't care if I am first and first never wins...ha! These Doodle Factory stamps are terrific and my latest addiction! These look great...so fun! I don't know how possible it would be to draw some kids but I would love to see Irene's take on them (particularly if they were miscreants like mine!).

This new collection is really cute! I love the sentiments...especially the sign one with "cootie free zone". That's cute! I'll be spreading the word about this new set & sentiments.

I think the adorable animals, monsters & robots would be so cute in a birthday set. I can see them with party hats, streamers & birthday cake all partying together! And I know you would come up with some really fun, non-traditional sentiments for them too. Sometimes just stamping "happy birthday" is no fun!

The new Sets are Great! I would like to see some play ground type stuff. Hanging off a rope & tire, swingset, skateboard, slide, teeter totter, hopscotch, sandbox w/ bucket & shovel, one of those merry go round rides, where you all pile on and one pushes and then jumps on (ok, I'm dating myself! They've deemed them too dangerous for now a days!)Also an old Train Engine to climb on, a rope/wood bridge. Gosh I better stop! Anyway think it would be fun for a series. Thanks for asking for the input.

This new set is great!!! I kind of have a "thing" for monsters. LOL

For future sets...I would love a circus set, ocean (Saltwater: marlin, sailfish, tuna, dolphin NOT porpoise) fishing set, Space monsters, Party Animals (Great for birthdays) set, and more Halloween!!! a bat, cyclops, Franky, werewolf, and a witch!

These stamps are really nice. A great contrast to the Urban set for all that time spent in the Great Outdoors. ;)

Themes to wish for? Well... there are many fun themes above and there will probably come more of them below this posting. Personally I really like the crafting, the circus, the space and the halloween themes already suggested. And I would like to see a cool rocking set with real attitude. Small creatures who really kick ass. ;)

These outdoor guys are cute!

The few suggestions that I thought of future doodles, once I read through the comments, have already been suggested. But my thoughts were a Fall set (not necessarily Thanksgiving, but that would be nice, too), dinosaurs and space, anything boyish and manly. I have mostly boys in my house! I'm live in Alaska, so an Arctic set with eskimos, moose and bear would be cool.

OH NO! I'm going to be in some serious trouble after stumbling upon your site. Your doodle stamps are too cute, and that means lots of spending for me! hehe

I would love to see some "On the Road" doodles, like for road trips, or maybe frozen treats off all sorts.

I don't know how you fit so much much work into your days. Whoever thinks "the advnatage of owning a business was being able to take time off whenever you want" never owned a business.

The new release set has a wonderful variety of stamps. The shack reminds me of (Mayberry RFD)Opie's clubhouse.

I enjoy county fairs so my suggestion would be a fair theme.

Thank you for thechance to win the Camp stamp set.

P.S.
FYI

I couldn't view the sentiments in an enlarged format.
Perhaps my computer is acting up, but thought you might like to check.

An accessory set for the Camp Set could include a picnic table, blanket, picnic basket, ants, playground swing set and other equipment.

I just found you guys this past weekend and I haven't laughed so hard or had so much fun looking at stamp sets in a long time!

I would love to see more stamps aimed at stamping for the men in my life. They are really getting sick of leaves, trees, bear and deer cards.

I like the ideas for humorous pirate and fishing stamp sets.

Suped-up Tim Taylor like tools; mowers, weed eaters, leaf blowers would be cool.

I really liked the old fashioned playground themed images mentioned in an earlier comment...I have a saying that I would use for my husband on our anniversary with that one - IN THE AMUSEMENT PARK OF LIFE...YOU ARE MY FAVORITE RIDE! Ha! I have hand drawn a rollercoaster with the two of us on it and put that on the inside of the card.

Anyway just wanted to tell you guys how much I loved your stuff! Keep up the great work.

Thanks,
Cyndi
